DEATH POSTURE is the project of a young artist coming from lisbon who 

has recently made his way through experimental noise / Harsh. Unlike a 

lot of what is done in the capital city, Death Posture doesn't bring us 

a demo of ambient music but an interesting approach on how to impose 

psychological pain by auditory torture.

For those who still don't know, the label of one of my brothers from HELLDPORD will be partnering with Headsplit to re-release the classic album of one of the pioneers of the genre in Portugal, "Macabre Requiems" by classic Portuguese Death Cult "GROG"

Personally for me the best work of the band and maybe one of the most influential here, along with "Herpetico" by Som Triturador, self-titled album from Genocide, and "Hymn to the Monstrous" by Evisceration!

Not to mention that Enfermo distro will also distribute this work by Helldprod.

Keep the underground alive, you don't need to be a rockstar to feel the scene.

To be released on November 11th, 2022!

Emerging from the remote land of Penafiel - DISTROFIA is one of the bands that left a mark on the Portuguese underground scene.

Known for their Grindcore / Punk dirty, raw, rotten, and minimalist, in the vein of Agathocles, Rot, and Old Napalm Death (From Enslavement To Obliteration era)...

They started their activity in 2005, recording a series of rehearsal tapes keeping their entity well and underground spirit explicit during their existence. The only split known among the masses is a Split with Agathocles, the rest I can assure you is scattered in the right gutters.

 

DISTROFIA had a series of line-ups with personnel from known projects in the Minho area within the punk/death/grind scenes, leading to a hiatus in 2009.

In 2020, Tózé decided to reactivate the project looking for permanent members to help him bring back the old hateful essence of what is really GRINDCORE!

After several conversations where alcohol was the right choice to wet the word, comes the idea of inviting Céd (Gorgasmico Pornoblastoma, Drenagem, Disfigured Human Mind, Insolencia....), to join the project.

After 2 years DISTROFIA is active, each time more dirty and noisy than it was before, counting with a new demo coming out late this year, called "DEMOPHOBIA" and a compilation album of all rehearsals since 2005 being recorded to come out soon called "RECICLAGEM"!
