EPD108 | OIDHCHE / IMANUEL CAN'T "Ciorramach / Sehr Angenehm"

OIDHCHE / IMANUEL CAN'T "Ciorramach / Sehr Angenehm"

Welcome to the world of psychedelia and darckness. This split Ep is a journey to parallel dimensions where the soul leaves the body in search of answers beyond comprehension. The creature behind OIDHCHE, already known for his orthodox black noise, joins forces with artist Imanuel Can't to present a completely extraordinary split!

This one will be a good bet for those who like to consume psychotropic drugs or indulge (like me) in a glass of whiskey or liqueurs... just choose your poison of choice and let yourself be consumed by this journey.

EDP107 | DRENAGEM / BABUÍNOS ANTÁRTICOS / P.F.C / RESTOS DE VÓMITO "Desprezo, Hostilidade, Aversão e Conflito"

DRENAGEM / BABUÍNOS ANTÁRTICOS / P.F.C / RESTOS DE VÓMITO "Desprezo, Hostilidade, Aversão e Conflito"

Long ago, the grindcore scene ceased to be a philosophy of nonconformity, anti-capitalism, and protest, transforming itself into what it once set out to criticize: a mere piece of commercial industry. What was initially constructed as a critique of musical genres that were supposed to be extreme has now become just another consumer product.

For many of us, grindcore was an escape from the complications of everyday life—a way to externalize frustrations, express traumas, and say what no one else would say. It was, and still should be, a space for those who did not want to fit into the mold of an increasingly standardized society. However, what we see today is a desire for everyone to be part of something, to find a scene to fit into, without understanding the true purpose of what it represents.

We, for our part, want more. We say screw all that. And with each passing year, it becomes clearer: the music and culture of intervention have become a way to get attention, a way to be seen as the “neighborhood rebel.” But where is the real message in all this? Where is the genuine protest?

If the message isn't clear, then I suggest you stay away. Noise isn't just sound; it's protest. And more than that, it's a way of life, of resistance, of questioning. If you can't understand that, then don't even come near. Grindcore was and always will be a way of life, a resistance — not just a trend to be consumed.
